Jan 14: Regulating Emotions As Parents

Rashmani Chakrabarty, Registered Psychologist and Founder of Midnight Sun Wellness

Regulating emotions as parents is an essential skill. Unfortunately, it's also easier said than done. Rashmani's talk will focus on some foundational emotional regulation skills derived from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Feb 3: How We Support Ourselves & Others

Sam Dover, Registered Psychologist with Dover Psychology

Because so many of us are taught how to get things in life and hustle towards our goals, we can often feel a bit disoriented and overwhelmed when we lose something. Sam's talk will focus on how we support ourselves and others after loss. 

Feb 10: Breath Work and Grounding

Cari Macintosh, Provisional Psychologist with Balance Psychology

Cari will explore breath work techniques and grounding strategies that give moms simple, supportive tools to help moms manage tough days more effectively.

Feb 17: Minimize Stress on Hands

Audree Foster, Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist with Reach Sports Physiotherapy and Hand Clinic

Audree will talk about common hand and wrist conditions during pregnancy and postpartum period as well as tips and tricks to prevent or manage them. Some ergonomic strategies will also be discussed to minimize stress on hands.
