Feb 3: How We Support Ourselves & Others

Because so many of us are taught how to get things in life and hustle towards our goals, we can often feel a bit disoriented and overwhelmed when we lose something. Sam's talk will focus on how we support ourselves and others after loss.
Feb 10: Breath Work and Grounding
Cari Macintosh, Provisional Psychologist with Balance Psychology
Cari will explore breath work techniques and grounding strategies that give moms simple, supportive tools to help moms manage tough days more effectively.
Feb 17: Minimize Stress on Hands
Audree Foster, Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist with Reach Sports Physiotherapy and Hand Clinic
Audree will talk about common hand and wrist conditions during pregnancy and postpartum period as well as tips and tricks to prevent or manage them. Some ergonomic strategies will also be discussed to minimize stress on hands.

Let's get confident babywearing with Your Doula, Grace! Back again with her suitcase full of carriers, Grace will run you through basic wears, safety, wearing in the cold + more! At the end, feel free to bring your carrier for a custom fit check with her!

We are going to focus on ‘one-handed snacks’—easy, nutritious options that postpartum moms can eat while caring for their baby. We’ll discuss how keeping these snacks within reach can help support regular fueling, energy, and recovery throughout the day.

A supportive talk for moms navigating perimenopause focused on understanding what’s actually happening in your body, recognizing common changes, and learning simple ways to support yourself through it.
