Bissell Centre
The Basic Needs Program is a resource for families experiencing poverty to access clothing, diapers, formula, referrals and other essentials for raising a healthy family.
You can access this program through our Family Support Navigator. You can reach them at familysupport@bissellcentre.org or leave a message by calling 780-423-2285 ext. 133.
Family Supports offices are now located at Bissell West building, right above our Community Space, at 10527 96 Street.

The C5 Community Market aims to allow our community members to shop for food with dignity, and feed their families based on their own cultural preferences and values, for free. At the market our families struggling with food security can shop for produce, non perishables and essentials at no cost, by appointment, twice per month. We also provide emergency hampers to those most in need, when our community members are unable to travel. While community members are shopping, our staff are able to support them to access other resources through the C5 agencies and other partners to provide full wrap around supports.
e4c is a non-profit, charitable organization that has been working for over 50 years to help vulnerable people here and now. At the same time, we’re working to prevent and eventually eliminate poverty. It’s a big task, but one we know is possible with the help of others who are ready to see the strength we see in the people we serve.
To be stewards in the collection of surplus and donated food for the effective distribution, free of charge, to people in need in our community while seeking solutions to the causes of hunger.
