Jo's Story
Bare It Designs is a locally owned company based out of Edmonton, AB that, as the name suggests, designs creative illustrations. Jo is the creative designer who originally began designing fun and cute illustrations for baby gear. With the popularity of her illustrations, she has taken the leap into apparel for the entire family, home decor, enamel pins, magnets, and stickers - the sky’s the limit!
Jo has been in business for the past 12 years, spending the early years creating screen-printed designs. Fast forward to the last 5 years where she has expanded her offerings with the help of her printer Roli (see Roli showing off his skills on our banner). You may have seen her at local Edmonton markets and collectives including: Etsy Made In Canada, Hand2Hand Handmade Market, The Seven Eighty, and EAC Shop & Services (formerly known as Tix on the Square).

Jo was born and raised in Edmonton and proud of it! She is a wife, mother, and the owner and creative designer of Bare It Designs. She loves to draw cute kawaii style, unique, and funny illustrations! She also likes to crochet, and you can accessorize your wardrobe with cute character toques and accessories.
As a self taught designer, Jo's inspirations come from her family, interests, environment, and everyday encounters. There is a story behind every design she's drawn; feel free to ask her when you meet! Above all, Jo loves to create fun, pun-tastic, G-rated designs that are shareable and bring smiles and laughter to everyone!
