After 4 years at Southgate Centre, I've made the decision to close and move back to online only. While I love the shop and all we have accomplished for small businesses and our community, I'm not able to manage the store and be the mom I want to be for my kids. It's a fine balance owning the shop, working part time as a dental hygienist, caring for my kids and still having to take one for regular appointments at the Stollery hospital.
What I'd love "closing" to look like
I’d love your support to help clear out inventory of local products by Christmas and maternity clothes by January 31, 2026. There’s A LOT of products from 100+ Edmonton small businesses in the shop because the decision to close came quickly. Bring your family & friends. Everything in store is also online!
A handwritten note
Have we made an impact in your life? I’d love to hear from you! I’ve always loved handwritten notes, cards and letters and would appreciate if you could leave a message. We’ll have note cards for a guestbook in the shop soon. If any of my staff (present and past) have made an impact in your life, please write a separate note and I will be sure to get it to them.
20K Diaper Drive
I’d love to reach our goal of 20,000 diapers for our 20K Diaper Drive before it ends on January 31, 2026. Please bring diaper donations for Edmonton’s Food Bank when you come.
Coffee & Convos
